Good to know
A few quick answers.
Which video formats can I use?
Choose an MP4, WebM or MOV file. Video playback depends on the codecs built into your browser and device. If a file will not preview, try exporting it as MP4 or WebM and choosing it again.
How long can my clip be?
The file can be up to 100 MB, and the part you convert can be up to 30 seconds. Shorter clips and smaller output settings usually create a GIF faster.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. The video is read from your device and processed in your browser. Loopframe never sends the video, file name or local path to its servers or to Google Analytics. If you opt in to analytics, Google receives page views and conversion event names only.
Why does my GIF look different from the video?
GIF is limited to 256 colors in each frame. A smaller width and lower frame rate can also make the file lighter, with some loss of detail or motion smoothness.
